Autographed Sir John Franklin, Letter, incomplete, four very full pages, quarto, HMS Rainbow, Corfu, September 12, 1830. To My dear Children. A very fine and lengthy letter about the character, personality, life, views and standards of the Turks and Greeks. The children were reading books about these peoples and had asked his opinion. Sir John Franklin also describes the islands and their inhabitants, informs his son that he does not believe that Malta contains fine shells, and briefly discusses a proposed visit by their aunt.
