George Custer may be more famous for how he died than what he did as a flamboyant Civil War General. Custer’s Last Stand against Sitting Bull and the Sioux warriors is engraved in American historical lore. Anything related to the Indian Wars is very rare and Civil War related documents and letters only slightly less so. Signed photographs are very rare as are any letters with interesting contents.
