CARL PERKINS. American singer, songwriter, and guitarist; wrote “Blue Suede Shoes.”

Autograph Manuscript Signed, one page, quarto, 1991. On Perkins’ personal letterhead.

Carl Perkins has transcribed six lines of lyrics from his 1956 hit “Blue Suede Shoes”.

“‘Blue Suede Shoes’ / Well it’s one for the money / Two for the show / Three to get ready / now got – cat – go / But don’t you / Step on my Blue Suede Shoes.”

Matted in light and medium blue, with a waist-length portrait of Perkins holding a blue suede shoe. Framed in antiqued gilt, framed dimensions are 20 and 1/2 inches wide by 17 inches high.
